Meet Kendy

Kendy and his mother were expelled from the Dominican Republic. Although they are not from Cap-Haïtien, his mother, Denise, found herself homeless and struggling on the streets. By God’s grace, someone referred her to Children of the Promise, a partnering organization.

Once Kendy’s HIV status was confirmed, the organization contacted us on his behalf. We welcomed Kendy with open arms, but upon arrival, he was experiencing respiratory issues and required hospitalization. Since being in our care, Kendy has been hospitalized twice. We hope and pray for his continued improvement.

Thanks to the support of our staff and the medical care he received at the hospital, Kendy is feeling much better now. He is a playful little boy who loves to smile.
