Meet Jenifer
About Jenifer
Jenifer was a young girl who found herself in the position of caring for her parents, both of whom were living with HIV. Unfortunately, they did not survive their illness. After their passing, Jennifer went to live with one of her cousins. However, due to her own HIV status, her family was concerned about her health and well-being.
Recognizing the need for specialized care, Jennifer’s family reached out to a social worker at Grace Children’s Hospital (GCH) for assistance. Through their guidance, Jennifer was placed in the care of an organization that could provide the support she needed, leading her to
CHOAIDS on January 28, 2015.
Since then, Jennifer has grown into a resilient young woman. She enjoys attending school, has made friends, and is learning valuable skills to prepare for adulthood. Her dream is to
become a nurse, inspired by her desire to help other children and individuals living with HIV.
