Psychosocial Support Program

Health and well-being of our children is paramount

About Our Psychosocial Support Program

At CHOAIDS, we recognize the significance of addressing the psychosocial needs of our children. Many of them have experienced trauma or adversity in their lives, which can impact their emotional and social development. That’s why we have a dedicated team of social workers and counselors who provide individual and group counseling sessions to support the children’s mental and emotional well-being.

Our psychosocial support programs focus on building resilience, self-esteem, and coping skills among our children. Through therapeutic activities, such as art therapy, music therapy, and mindfulness exercises, we help them process their emotions and develop healthy ways of expressing themselves. Additionally, we provide peer support groups and mentoring programs to foster positive relationships and social connections among the children, creating a sense of community and belonging.
