Meet Valentina

Valentina was abandoned at Grace Children’s Hospital. We are unsure of her exact age, but we believe she was around 3 or 4 when she arrived in February 2011. Valentina has speech difficulties as well as learning, retention, and comprehension. We suspect that she may be on the autism spectrum, although we do not have the financial means to get her tested. Despite struggling academically, she has expressed interest in learning to sew and pursuing it as a career in the future. As a young adult, we are committed to providing Valentina with the necessary skills and training to lead a successful adult life in the community.
