Meet Rose-Arlie

Six-year-old Rose-Arlie arrived at CHOAIDS in December 2022. She had contracted HIV from her mother, who had neglected to take her ARV medication during pregnancy. After Rose- Arlie’s mother left her with her grandmother, the grandmother sought help from Grace Children’s Hospital social workers to find a suitable home for Rose-Arlie. Since moving to CHOAIDS, her grandmother has visited her several times, even making a difficult trip to Cap-Haitien to see her. 

Rose-Arlie enjoys school and playing dress-up.  Rose-Arlie, Nathalie, and Renette are like three musketeers at the house.
