Meet Edison Cicéron

Edison’s mother faced mental health challenges, which led them to live on the streets. Thankfully, a distant cousin took him in. When she realized she couldn’t provide the care he needed, she reached out to CHOAIDS. We welcomed Edison into our family in June 2017 when he was 8 years old, despite facing language and learning difficulties that require a specialized education program. Nevertheless, within the safe and nurturing environment of CHOAIDS, he finds joy in play and continues to embrace life.
