About Wilka Leblanc

Wilka came into our care in 2012 and was among the six young adults who transitioned out of our care in 2022. He and three others went into a 2-year program funded by Global Orphan. He accumulated much knowledge in the five months before it was closed because of gang activity in the area. Upon returning to us, Wilka had a desire to work. While he continues to study as a tailor, he is working as one of two CHOAIDS tutors. In his role, Wilka works with the primary school children and assists the main tutor with other roles as needed.
