Lesly came to live at the CHOAIDS home on January 25, 2008.  His story is one of the most heart wrenching stories we have heard.  Prior to moving into the CHOAIDS home, Lesly lived with his father, stepmother and three siblings.  Although Lesly has a living parent, he was neglected.  At his previous residence he was provided only with living space – without food or other amenities.  Lesly was near death when women from a local church took him to Grace Children’s Hospital.  Lesly is a very smart and wonderful child who has greatly progressed since he moved to the CHOAIDS home.  He has been very helpful to the moms at the home and we look forward to report on his progress.
