Edeline has been living at the CHOAIDS house since early November 2006. Prior to living with us she lived with one of her mother’s relatives. Edeline is among the children who do not get any visitors. Edeline does not talk much. She’s often looking at the ground; when addressed she responds softly and with a smile. Edeline did not attend school prior to coming to live at the CHOAIDS home. To speed up her learning experience, she is being tutored every day after school. Edeline is a wonderful child and often plays her role as big sister, by helping the house mother with the care of the other children.
