Christelle is among the first three children who came to live at the CHOAIDS house when it first opened. After the death of her mother she became very sick.  Her grandmother took her to a local clinic that then referred her to the children’s TB hospital. After months of TB treatment, the grandmother learned that Christelle had AIDS. Because of her financial situation she asked for our help with Christelle. Christelle’s grandmother used to come visit her twice a year, but has not been heard from since early last year. Christelle is a wonderful child and does very well in school.
