help us meet these needs

• Salary for the current live-in caregiver

• She makes $250/mo.  She has been working for CHOAIDS for almost 3 years now and loves the children like her own.  She has a tremendous relationship with the children.  We would like to raise her salary to $450/mo in 2008.
• Hire one more HIV-positive woman to assist the current caregiver “mother.”

• Salary for our nurse who spends one night/wk with the children.  We would like to begin providing her with a stipend of $60/night beginning on January 2008.

• Salary for our social worker/project assistant.  She is just beginning to receive a small stipend from CHOAIDS on October 2007.  Her husband was laid off last summer.  The social worker is now providing for her entire house which includes her three children, husband, niece, nephew and mother.  We would like to provide her with a monthly stipend of $400.

• Salary for the current part-time tutor (he makes $30/wk) – we need someone to sponsor his salary for 2008.

• Some basic and important needs of our children:
• Vitamins

• Furniture

• Clothing

• VCR , color  TV  and children’s movies

• Indoor children’s games (e.g, puzzles)

• A swing set and other outdoor toys
