CHOAIDS LETTER - NOV 19, 2005

Dear Friends,

I trust God has kept you and your families safe.  In light of the holidays’ preparation, I’m writing to give you an update on the children of CHOAIDS, our progress and to also request your financial support on behalf of the children.  I have been in communication with Chantale Gracien, the social worker, and recently learned that we have another child at the home.   By the grace of God all the children are doing well.  They are in school except the newest child (whom we hope to enroll in school before the beginning of next year); they are safe and in good health.  Haiti is still in turmoil and the situation is even worst since I left in May of this year.

Friends, our children depend on your financial support to survive.

Friends and acquaintances have donated items (e.g., clothes, shoes and toys) that will be sent to Haiti later this month with the hope of getting them to the children before Christmas.  I also hope to send some toys to Grace Children’s Hospital in the hope of starting a toy room for the hospitalized children.
