I do hope and pray you and your families are having a wonderful summer. This is a brief letter to solicit funds to help support the home in Haiti. The children are doing well. I received an email from Chantale stating that our 8-year-old Clara will be starting school this fall. It’s very exciting for her, because it will be her first time in school. Christelle is being tutored all summer long so that she can move up to the next grade level. My friends, the children you are helping to support in Haiti are doing things they themselves and others in their environment did not think they could do; for that I thank you. I know it’s not an easy thing setting money aside to give to this project, but these children need you to continue to contribute on their behalves.

I hope and pray we can obtain our non-profit status before the end of this year so that you can get back some of the moneys you contributed to this project. School starts next month in Haiti and all five children need to go to school. Would you contribute in helping me to accomplish that goal? No matter what you give will go toward their caretaking and school, no amount of money is too small. I know you have your own children to send to school. Please remember, our children do not require much. On average tuition for one child to attend school costs 30.00 U.S. dollars for the entire year. Some of them already have uniforms from last year; we only have to get uniforms for two children. Please do your best to help make this school year possible for these children. Let’s continue this journey together.
