I hope and pray everything is well with you and your families. I would like to thank each of you for continuing to support the children of CHOAIDS. I know God will truly bless your efforts. You are helping to provide care for children whom you will probably never meet. That’s admirable to have such giving hearts. I’m writing to update you on the well-being of the children and to also ask for a financial support for them for the month of August. I spoke to the social worker, Chantale Gracien, last week and learned that our children are doing very well. They are safe and being cared for. As you probably know, the people of Haiti continue to suffer from escalating violence, so I ask that you please remember them in your prayers.

Obtaining our non-profit status is in hiatus; we are in need of $500 for the application fee. I have found someone who will help me in filing the necessary documents at no cost, but I lack the funds for the filing fee and final submission. I ask in addition to your usual contributions to please include a few extra dollars to contribute toward the application so that it can be sent in as soon as possible. Please remember, I depend on your generous financial gifts to meet the basic needs of these children in Haiti, without which they cease to exist. Please let’s continue to fight HIV/AIDS by supporting these innocent children whom their parents left behind. Together we will make a difference!
